Arm Tuck

If you have sagging arm skin, and you feel uncomfortable and insecure performing any every day hand movements such as waving, pointing, or raising your hand, you may want to consider Arm Tuck surgery, also referred to as Brachioplasty.

Brachioplasty is a surgical procedure that reshapes the upper arm, from the underarm region to the elbow. If you want to reduce excess sagging skin on your arms that droops downward, tighten and smoothen the underlying supportive tissue that defines the shape of the upper arm and reduce localized pockets of fat in the upper arm region, Brachioplasty is a great option for you!

Is liposculpture performed with Brachioplasty?
Yes. To achieve the best results, Dr. Vu suctions out unnecessary fat prior to the arm tuck.

Will it hurt?
As with all of our surgical procedures, Dr. Vu will properly infiltrate the anesthetic to prevent the patient from feeling any pain.

How long is the procedure?
It usually depends on how much work needs to be done. On average, it takes about 4 hours to perform the procedure.

When can I engage in regular activities again?
To ensure a good recovery, we recommend that you start moving your arms and walking around within 2 days. In as little as 2 weeks, you will be able to engage in light activity.
