Dr. Vu will carefully inject the proper anesthetic to ensure that you are comfortable during the procedure. Proper medication will also be provided to assure that you are relaxed during the procedure as well.

How soon can I go back to work?
With any surgical procedure, recovery usually depends on the patient. But on average, you can expect to go back to your daily activities anywhere from 2-5 days.

How long do I have to refrain from sexual activities after the procedure is performed?
The body will need time to properly and fully heal. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you refrain from any type of sexual intercourse for a period of 4-6 weeks. After your post op care visit, Dr. Vu will let you know when you are able to return to your activities.

How long is the actual procedure?
It generally depends on what needs to be achieved during the procedure. But on average, it is only about 2 hours.
